Treasure chest: Made out of tree fern with a lift up lid. The lid is fixed into place with plastic coated wire with supports and galvanised chain. The treasure chest sits on the ground. Available in Medium - with dimensions of approximately 430mm long, 280mm wide and 460mm high.
The tree fern is ideal for mounting or potting orchids in. As a mount tree fern has advantages over timber or cork as (1) it holds moisture, (2) it allows the plant to grow through it and (3) it holds nutrients. The same advantages apply to using tree fern as a planter, as well as it being more attractive than a plastic pot.
