Dicksonia antarctica (Soft Brown Tree Fern) grows in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria. It grows a trunk upto 10m tall covered with fibrous roots growing down towards and into the ground at the base, there are also brownish hairs that cover the trunk upto the fronds that create a crown 6m wide. The fronds are green and leathery on maturity. It is best moved in cooler months.
