Half Baskets: Wire frame basket with coconut liner attached to a round tree fern mount including hook, suitable for hanging. The hook is galvanised wire. Available in sizes of approximately 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, 200mm, and 250mm - where the size is the width of the basket. The diameter of the mount is about 100mm larger than the width of the basket for each size.
The tree fern is ideal for mounting or potting orchids in. As a mount tree fern has advantages over timber or cork as (1) it holds moisture, (2) it allows the plant to grow through it and (3) it holds nutrients. The same advantages apply to using tree fern as a planter, as well as it being more attractive than a plastic pot.
