Description
On offer is a new release seedling of the Native Dendrobium Orchid, D. speciosum v speciosum ‘Lemon Yellow’ x ‘Maximin’.
Established in a 40mm square tube, this crossing pairs two variety speciosum plants together. Neither has ‘Windermere’ (nor any other parentage of note) in its makeup, so this represents a new gene-pool to what is typically available. Both in the yellow/gold shades, we’re hoping for more of the same. ‘Maximin’ has very large flowers for this variety, but super short canes as well, whilst ‘Lemon Yellow’ is a very nice example of the type.
The photographs show the actual parents used and a seedling that is typical of those on offer.
