Description
On offer is a NEW RELEASE seedling Australian Native Dendrobium Kathleen Eugenie ‘Firecracker’ x kingianum ‘Winterfire’ growing in a 40mm tube.
Is this going to be like D. Zip, but reinvented? ‘Firecracker’ comes from D. Lorikeet x tetragonum, making it ¾ D. tetragonum, with a touch of D. bigibbum and D. kingianum. A full, chunky and large star overlaid with speckles of colour and a glorious labellum, we’ve paired it with ‘Winterfire’, a kingie that consistently flowers in late Winter for us, with superb substance, very full segments and a light speckling itself. These will flower from very small plants – some possibly even in tubes – have a wide gamete of colours/patterns and have very shapely, well marked labelums. Hoping for a real Winter Flowering “Cracker”.
Photographs show both parents, as well as an example of the seedlings on offer.
